Came here on a late Saturday morning for the breakfast burrito. I was very happy and satisfied with the big burrito! It's definitely a divey spot and seems like it's more of a pick-up and go spot but we ordered a coffee, bought a slice of the cheesecake they had and ate our burrito there. The people were very friendly and even made us a fresh batch of coffee for us to have. The space was clean and spacious for eating on-site. It's an order at the counter and find your seat type of place. The food was tasty, even the non-fancy cheesecake that they had. It was perfect. It was a very nostalgic type of cheesecake that you would get from school sales. Would I go back? Definitely, when I'm in the area.
I have long wanted to come back to this no-frills spot in industrial Hayward. I used to stop there for breakfast or lunch when my daughter was little. Recently, after a visit to a nearby business, we stopped in on a rainy afternoon. The woman at the front counter greeted us warmly . There are American, Korean, and Mexican menu options. I went for all-American: a turkey burger, fries, and strawberry shake. The food was brought piping hot to my table. It has quite an extensive menu and we will definitely return.
Small restaurant here on the corner of Industrial Rd and American Ave. in Hayward. They serve Korean,American and also make good burritos. I get the chorizo,egg,bean ,potato burrito with their hot sauce which I think is made with chile de árbol. Delicious and feeling!Restaurant is very clean and and two owners very nice. Open early during the week and 8:30am on Saturdays. Suggest if you come here for breakfast arrive when they open because it is a popular spot.
Two words - Breakfast Burrito - period! My daughter introduced me to this spot after we went for a very loooooooong walk one day. I am a sucker for a good breakfast burrito and they have it. I'm a little sad that they are closed on Sundays because there have been plenty of times I've had a craving on a Sunday but I won't hold it against them. =) We've tried calling in advance for pick up orders but sometimes they are so busy with calls and orders and that's not an option. Either way, the drive is worth it for the size, taste and satisfaction I get after eating one of these with bacon, cheese and avocado (of course). Parking is never an issue, wait is typical ~ 10 mins. Location is kind of tucked away in an industrial area. Hidden gem for sure!
This is it if you live in Hayward area or next to, close to, close by or whatever it is! The Asian lady is the sweetest. So welcoming and always so friendly! My bf LOVES the breakfast burritos here , I do too, but I really love their Korean dishes more. Their short rib dish is sooo flavorful and so authentic ! The pieces are always so meaty and they never skimp! Burgers are always a hit as well!! It's usually busy during opening and lunch time, but there's seating areas where you can dine in or wait for your food. Definitely a must try if you're in the area or looking for something good!
